  • IN ADDITION TO THE ADIT, CUTS UP TO 120 FEET IN LENGTH HAVE BEEN DUG. VEIN MAY FOLLOW A BEDDING PLANE FAULT (FERGUSON & JEWELL, 1951)

  • COLONEL OLIVER REPORTEDLY PROSPECTED THE VEIN IN THE 1880'S. PROSPECT WAS DEVELOPED BY BILL ASKEW FOR A MR. STONE IN 1916, AND 1,000 TONS OF BARITE WERE SHIPPED. PROPERTY LEASED BY KREBS PIGMENT AND CHEMICAL COMPANY IN 1919. THEY DID PROSPECTING AND CLEANED OUT OLDER WORKINGS, BUT SHIPPED NO ORE, ACCORDING TO FERGUSON & JEWELL (1951).
