Comments on the geologic information

  • THE TALC BODY THINNED TO A FEW INCHES ALONG THE PLUNGE AND BOTH UP AND DOWN DIP. THE TALC EXHIBITED CURVED GRAIN, HARD GLAZED SURFACES, WAS SLIGHTLY SHEARED, AND HAD A GOOD CLEAR COLOR. THE TALC BODY WAS BORDERED BY SILICIFIED MARBLE ON BOTH SIDE AND FOR AS MUCH AS 100 FEET ALONG STRIKE. QUARTZ ALSO OCCURRED IN THE FORM OF ROUNDED SAND GRAINS.
