  • NE TRENDING QUARTZ VEIN IN SHEARED ROCK. CONTAINED 20% PB THROUGH 14 FOOT THICKNESS NEAR THE SURFACE, LEAN AT DEPTH
  • ORES ARE: (1) BEDDED REPLACEMENT DEPOSITS IN CAMBRIAN, DEVONIAN, AND MISSISSIPPIAN LIMESTONE, DOLOMITE, OR HORNFELS, AT INTERSECTIONS WITH FISSURES; (2) REPLACEMENT PIPES CROSSCUTTING BEDDING OF MISSISSIPPIAN LIMESTONE BENEATH SHALE; AND (3) FISSURE FILLING WITH REPLACEMENT OF BRECCIA ALONG FISSURES IN LIMESTONE (AS ABOVE) AND MISSISSIPPIAN QUARTZITE. IGNEOUS ROCKS ARE SMALL STOCKS, DIKES, AND SILLS OF MONZONITE, MONZONITE PORPHYRY AND RHYOLITE; ALL OF TERTIARY (EOCENE ?) AGE. CONSIDERABLE OXIDIZED ORE WAS MINED IN EARLY DAYS.
