  • DEPOSIT OCCURS IN A FAULT ZONE WHICH STRIKES N 20 E AND DIPS 80 NW. THE SOUTHEASTERN LIMB OF DEPOSIT IS DISPLACED TO THE NORTHWEST BY A CROSS FAULT WHICH STRIKES N 45 W AND DIPS 75 NE.u SILICA-RICH PODS AND BULL QUARTZ VEINS UP TO -.5 M IN THICKNESS ARE PRESENTu CHLORITOID IS LOCALLY ABUNDANT IN THE PYROPHYLLITE. PYROPHYLLITE ANDu QUARTZ VEINS ARE DEFORMED IN MESOSCOPIC FOLDS. ALTERATION PROBABLYu CONTROLLED BY THE "GLENDON FAULT" WHICH JUXTAPOSES FELSIC AND ANDESTICu VOLCANIC ROCK UNITS.
