Deposit PLACERS OCCUR IN SMALL BASINS OR CHANNELS FOR ABOUT 3/4 OF A MILE ON EACH SIDE OF MODEL CREEK, ON THE PEDIMENT AREA BETWEEN THE WEAVER MTNS. AND PEEPLES VALLEY.
Deposit SCHEELITE OCCURS WITHIN ALTERED BANDS OF HORNBLENDE SCHIST, AS MUCH AS 15 FEET WIDE. THERE ARE AT LEAST 6 MINERALIZED BANDS, EACH ABOUT 3 FEET WIDE, IN A ZONE ABOUT 300 FEET WIDE. FELDSPAR OCCURS IN PEGMATITE.
