W., AND DIP FROM 70 DEG. NE TO 45 DEG. SW. MANGANESE ORE IS MAINLY HARD, BRITTLE BLUE-BLACK PSILOMELANE; AVERAGE GRADE IS ABOUT 40% MANGANESE. SOME ORE CONTAINS OXIDIZED LIGHT BROWN MN CARBONATE (RHODOCROSITE),BEMENTITE, AND SOME BROWN OPALINE MATERIAL WHICH MAY BE RELATED TO NEOTOCITE.
