| Deposit | VEINS, THIS DEPOSIT IS N PORTION OF MINERALIZED AREA ALONG HODSON FAULT ZONE. THE TOTAL MINERALIZED AREA IS ESTIMATED TO BE AT LEAST 4000 FT LONG AND AS MUCH AS 500 FT WIDE. THE MAIN MOUNTAIN KING VEIN SYSTEM CONSISTS OF QUARTZ VEINS ANDSTRINGERS AND STRIKES N 32 W, DIPS 30 NE. IT RANGES FROM 5 - 50 FT IN THICKNESS. AMPHIBOLITE SCHIST AND GREENSTONE FORM THE HANGING WALL AND MARIPOSA SLATE FORMS THE FOOTWALL. NUMEROUS QTZ STRINGERS CUT THE HANGING WALL WITH SHOOTS OF "GREY ORE" CONSISTING OF MINERALIZED AMPHIBOLITE AND GREENSTONE ARE NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF THESE STRINGERS AND THE MAIN VEIN. ANOTHER QTZ VEIN LYING TO THE NE IS THE PINE LOG VEIN, IT INTERSECTS THE MOUNTAIN KING VEIN BETWEEN THE 800 AND 1000 FT LEVELS. |
