ASSAYS OF SPECIMENS QUOTED AS CONTAINING 48% MN. GREY PHYLLITE OR SLATE IS ONLY ROCK EXPOSED IN PIT; STRIKING N 45 W AND DIPPING 60 NE. MANGANESE BED NOT EXPOSED DUE TO CAVING OF PIT.
