DRILL-CORE DATA HAVE INDICATED THAT IT CONTAINS AN OVERALL AVERAGE OF ABOUT 3 1/4% FIBER TO A DEPTH OF AT LEAST 200', BUT THE FIBER CONTENT IS NOT UNIFORM. PAC. ASBESTOS CO. DROVE 1000' OF ADITS ON VOORHEES DEPOSIT IN 1921.

SAYS AN ASBESTOS PROCESSING PLANT HAS BEEN BUILT. IT WILL PROCESS 2500 TONS OF ASBESTOS ORE PER DAY AND PRODUCE 70,000 TONS PER YEAR OF HIGH QUALITY ASBESTOS FIBER. ESTIMATED PROVED RESERVES OF 23 MILLION TONS. ABOUT 40% OF THE FINISHED ASBESTOS FIBER IS SCHEDULED FOR EXPORT. OPERATIONS CUT TO 1 SHIFT IN LATTER PART OF 1963 DUE TO DEPRESSED MARKET -MET. MNG MAY 1964 P. 62.
