  • GEOL.DESC: 15" TEST-DRILL HOLE SUNK THROUGH THE LIMESTONE CAPPING TO THE GRAVEL; IN 1936 PLANS WERE TO SINK AN INCLINE SHAFT TO THE BOTTOM OF THE DEPOSIT. APPARENTLY THE GRAVEL LIES IN CAVERNOUS LIMESTONE OR THERE HAS BEEN SOME FAULTING.
