| Deposit | WORKINGS ARE PROBABLY THOSE SHOWN AT THE ABOVE LOCATIONS ON USGS QUAD. PILOT HILL, CALIF. 1954. THERE ARE ELEVEN SEPARATE CHROMITE BEARING AREAS IN THIS DEPOSIT. BECAUSE OF THE IRREGULAR SHAPE AND ERRATIC DISTRIBUTION OF THE ORE BODIES, POTENTIAL RESERVES ARE UNKNOWN. MINE CONTAINS LARGEST KNOWN CHROMITE DEPOSITS IN THE SIERRA NEVADA. |
