Comments on the production information

  • DEPOSIT WORKED BRIEFLY IN 1918 WHEN EXPOSED BY FLOODWATERS FROM BIG CYN CREEK; PRODUCTION UNKNOWN. LATER DRAGLINE DREDGING OPERATIONS ON THE CREEK UNCOVERED THE ORE BODY AND EXCAVATED LARGE BLOCKS OF CHROMITE, THE SIZE OF WHICH INDICATE PRESENCE OF A MODERATE SIZED BODY OF ORE.
