FROM 1935 TO AROUND 1940 PROPERTY OPERATED BY A CANADIAN CONCERN; A SMALL AMOUNT OF WORK DONE AGAIN IN 1950. THE ORE CONTAINED ABOUT $12 PER TON AND SOME OF THE COUNTRY ROCK ENCLOSING THE QUARTZ VEINLETS CONTAINED UP TO $4 PER TON.SEVERAL POCKETS OF HIGH-GRADE ORE WERE MINED DURING 1930'S.
