Deposit THE TACTITE PINCHES OUT NEAR THE SURFACE AND WIDENS AT DEPTH; THE GREATEST WIDTH OF EXPOSED TACTITE IS ABOUT 12 FT. THE SCHEELITE IS IN THIN PARALLEL STREAKS NEAR THE CENTER OF THE TACTITE BODY. COUNTRY ROCK IS QUARTZITE AND MICA SCHIST OF THE CALAVERAS GROUP.
