Deposit THE UPPER 2 FEET OF THE DEPOSIT IS A HARD GRAY MATERIAL COMPOSED OF SILT CONTAINING STREAKS AND SPOTS OF FINELY DIVIDED GYPSUM. THE LOWER 4 FT. IS FINE-GRAINED, SOFT, YELLOWISH-WHITE GYPSITE THAT CONTAINS A LITTLE CALCIUM CARBONATE.
