  • REMILLARD BRICK CO. BUILT A PLANT IN 1891 (THERE MAY HAVE BEEN A BRICK YARD HERE EARLIER) AND MADE COMMON BRICK BY SOFT MUD PROCESS. THE BRICK YARD WAS CLOSED AT END OF 1913 AND NEVER OPERATED AGAIN. A LEASE WAS ENTERED INTO IN 1926 FOR USE OF THE PROPERTY TO MANUFACTURE FLOOR TILE, BUT THERE IS NO RECORD OF ANY PRODUCTION.
