IN 1896 MINE YIELDED 387 OZ. GOLD FROM UNKNOWN TONNAGE OF ORE. FROM 1937-1939 356 TONS OF ORE WERE MINED WHICH YIELDED 238 OZ. GOLD AND 96 OZ. SILVER. IN 1938 THE OLD DUMP SAMPLED $8.42 PER TON. MAY BE THE WORKINGS SHOWN IN THE NE1/4 OF THE SEC. ON USGS QUAD. HORNITOS, CALIF. 1949
