BOWEN & GRAY ( 1957 ) CALL WALL ROCKS GRANITIC, LAIZURE ( 1928 ) CALL WALL ROCKS LIMESTONE & TALC FOOTWALL, PORPHYRY HANGING WALL.

Deposit ONE CLAIM, THE OLD STANDBY, 20 ACRES SURVEYED BUT UNPATENTED, FORMERLY PART OF A GROUP OF THREE INCLUDING THE SIMEON LANDRUM BUT OTHER CLAIMS HAVE APPARENTLY BEEN ABANDONED. MINE IS CHARACTERIZED BY POCKETS OF VERY RICH ORE WHICH ARE IN PLACES FOUND IN VEIN QUARTZ AND IN OTHERS IN DISINTEGRATED DIKE MATERIAL. MAY BE ACTIVE. OPEN CUT MINING MAY BE FEASABLE.
