  • ONLY SUBSTANTIAL PRODUCTION RECORDED WAS IN 1937 WHEN 800 TONS WAS MARKETED. IN 1942 OWNERS REPORTED THAT 2000 TONS REMAINED ON THE DUMPS AND THAT 25,000 TONS HAD BEEN BLOCKED OUT IN THE MINE. SOME PRODUCTION IN 1961; ENTIRE PROD. LESS THAN 10,000 TONS.

Deposit PATENTED PROPERTY OF 44 ACRES WHICH INCLUDES THE BARIUM 2, 3 AND NO. BARIUM FRACTIONAL CLAIMS; ALSO 3 UNPATENTED CLAIMS ARE HELD, THE BARIUM 3, SO FRACTIONAL AND CAMP LODE CLAIMS. THE BARITE ROCK IS WHITE, GRANULAR AND CONTAINS SOME SILICA. PART OF THE 1937 PRODUCTION WAS REPORTED TO BE WITHERITE, BUT NONE WAS OBSERVED IN OCTOBER 1955.
