| Deposit | ANDALUSITE OCCURS IN COLORLESS TO PINK, GLASSY CRYSTALS AVERAGING 3X6 MM IN SEC. AND 20 MM LONG. ONLY A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF THE CRYSTALS CONTAIN ORGANIC MATTER AND NONE APPEAR TO BE PINNITIZED. THE CONCENTRATION OF ANDALUSITE IN THE SLATE VARIES FROM 15 TO 25 PERCENT. |
