  • GEOL.DESC: PUMICE OCCURS IN SEVERAL EXTENSIVE FLAT-LYING LAYERS WHICH ARE EXPOSED IN A SERIES OF BULLDOZER CUTS AND TEST PITS; OF VARIABLE THICKNESS. PUMICE IS IN ANGULAR, WHITE TO LIGHT-GRAY FRAGMENTS RANGING FROM DUST-LIKE PARTICLES TO 4" IN DIAMETER.
