  • GEOL.DESC: PUMICE IN A 20' LAYER EXPOSED IN SEVERAL WIDELY SPACED TEST PITS; DIPS E AT A LOW ANGLE AND IS OVERLAIN BY SANDY, PUMICEOUS SOIL 3' THICK. PUMICE FRAGMENTS ARE ANGULAR, POORLY SORTED, PINK TO WHITE AND RANGE FROM DUSTLIKE MATERIAL TO FRAGMENTS 2" IN DIAMETER.
