  • GEOL.DESC: PUMICE LAYER, SUBAGUEOUS IN ORIGIN, IS ABOUT 10' THICK, FLAT-LYING, AND OVERLAIN PARTLY BY BROWNISH-GRAY, PUMICEOUS SOIL AND PARTLY BY LOOSELY CONSOLIDATED BISHOP TUFF. PUMICE FRAGMENTS ARE WHITE, ANGULAR, AND RANGE FROM DUSTLIKE PARTICLES TO 4" IN DIAMETER.
