  • TEN TONS OF ORE MINED UP TO NOVEMBER 1917, IS REPORTED TO ASSAY 50% TO 60% METALLIC MANGANESE AND 6% SILICA. AVERAGE GRADE OF ORE IS 25 PERCENT MANGANSE. PRODUCED 35 TONS OF ORE IN 1918 CONTAINING 35% MANGANESE AND 7% SILICA.
