  • PROSPECTING BEGUN IN 1929 TO DETERMINE VALUE OF THE GROUND. A TEST RUN OF 1300 CU. YDS. HAD AN AVERAGE RECOVERY OF 20-7/8 CENTS A CU. YD., BUT BEDROCK GAVE PAN SAMPLES INDICATING A GOLD CONTENT OF SEVERAL DOLLARS A YARD, IT WAS REPORTED.
