  • HOGAN AND HOTHERSALL SHIPPED 353 LONG TONS OF ORE IN 1916, 446 TONS IN 1917 AND 80 TONS IN 1918 WITH A TOTAL OF 879 LONG TONS SHIPPED AND 161 TONS STOCKED. THE MAJOR PART OF THE ORE PROBABLY CAME FROM THIS DEPOSIT. THE STATE REPORTED 50 TO 100 TONS OF MILLING GRADE ORE, 10 TO 18 PERCENT CR2O3 REMAINED IN 1918.

Deposit COMPRISED 34 ACRES AND ADJOINS THE ALTA HILL MINE. ORE SHIPPED IN 1918 CONTAINED 30 TO 300 PERCENT CR2O3. THAT SHIPPED IN 1916 & 1917 MIGHT HAVE BEEN SLIGHTLY RICHER. NO ORE IN SIGHT IN CUTS IN AUG. 1918 BUT SOME LENSES 3 TO 4 FT. WIDE EXPOSED IN BOTTOM OF SHAFT AND DRIFT.
