  • GEOL.DESC: SERIES OF MANGANESE LENSES ON THE CONTACT BETWEEN GRANITE AND LIMESTONE; FOR A DISTANCE OF 1000 FT. THE CONTACT STRIKE IS N-S , AND DIPS 70 E. LARGEST LENS IS 50 FT. LONG AND 8 TO 10 FT. WIDE. THE FRACTURE CAN BE TRACED FOR 1 MI, AND AT INTERVALS SHOWS FROM 8 INCHES TO 4 FT OF ORE. ORE IS MOSTLY PSILOMELANE WITH SOME PYROLUSITE.
