| Deposit | SERIES OF VEINS OF CALCITE AND PSILOMELANE TYPE MATERIAL IN A WIDE ZONE IN ANDESITE. VEINS FOLLOW INDIVIDUAL FRACTURES IN A FISSURE ZONE THAT STRIKES N. W. AND DIPS N. E., AND IS 50 FT. WIDE. CALCITE IS LATER IN ORIGIN THAN MANGANESE OXIDE, AND FILLS THE CENTER OF THE VEINS. SOME PYROLUSITE OR MANGANITE IS PRESENT. |
