  • GEOL.DESC: FEW OUTCROPS OF VERY SILICEOUS RHODONITE OVER AREA 30 FT. LONG AND 10 FT. WIDE. OUTCROPS STRIKE E, AND MAY BE PART OF SMALL LANDSLIDE. WALL ROCKS ARE SLATE AND QUARTZ MICA SCHIST. SOME RHODONITE IS COMPLETELY OXIDIZED, BUT SOME GOOD OXIDE IS PRESENT, THE RHODONITE OCCURRING GENERALLY AT THE SURFACE. BEST ORE IS 50 PERCENT QUARTZ AND 50 PERCENT RHODONITE.
