  • GEOL.DESC: MANGANESE ORE FLOAT FOUND IN SEVERAL PLACES. 2 LOCATIONS OF SILICEOUS MATERIAL HEAVILY STAINED WITH MANGANESE OXIDE, AND ONE LOCATION OF HIGH GRADE ORE, FOUND IN PLACE. ORE UNDERLIES BED OF MASSIVE ORANGE JASPER, STRIKING E - W, AND DIPPING 20 S. ORE IS MASSIVE RED BROWN MATERIAL, WITH MANGANESE OXIDE COATING SURFACES. SOME PALE PINK MANGANESE CARBONATE IS MIXED WITH THE ORE.
