  • GEOL.DESC: AREA IS UNDERLAIN ENTIRELY BY PERIDOTITE, WHICH HAS BEEN ALTERED TO SERPENTINITE. SERPENTINITE IS MANTLED BY WELL DEVELOPED NICKEL-BEARING RED LATERITIC SOIL. THE ORE BODY HERE IS SAID TO RANGE BETWEEN 500 AND 1000 ACRES, AND IS AS MUCH AS 20 FT. DEEP.
