  • 3 DISTINCT VEINS & MINOR BRANCHES & COMPLEX SYSTEM OF FAULTS OF DIFFERENT AGES. THREE ROCK TYPES. 1) A BANDED CHLORITE-AMPHIBOLITE SCHIST OF RATHER SLATY ASPECT, BELIEVED TO REPRESENT ORIGINAL WATER-LAID TUFF & SHALES, 2) AMPHIBOLITE SCHIST WITH NEEDLE HORNBLENDE XTLS, 3) MASSIVE AMPHIBOLITE PROBABLY ORIGINALLY A BASIC FLOW. 3 SYSTEMS OF PREMINERAL FISSURES. THE OLDEST HAS A NW STRIKE, DIPS NE, CONFORMING TO PRODUCTIVE FISSURES OF NEAR VICINITY. TWO PRINCIPAL VEINS STRIKE N 20 W , WITH LOW W DIP, IN PART A CONTEMPORANEOUS SYSTEM W FIRST. 3RD DIPS W AND IS LATER THAN CONTROLLING FAULTS. PARALLEL FAULTS, 10 FT. APART, NORMAL & REVERSE, THE LATTER POST MINERAL, & PROBABLY PREMINERAL OR INTERMINERAL & LIMITS SMALL ORE SHOOT. INTERMINERAL MOVEMENT GROOVES WITH PYRITE, PYRITE ON FREE WALLS W/O GOUGE, & RARE SULFIDE BANDING IN QTZ. MAJOR POST MINERAL FAULTING ALONG PREMINERAL FISSURES, PARALLEL TO VEINS.
