Deposit VEINS ON IRONSIDE CLAIM, 2-20 IN. THICK, OFFSET 8-25 FT AT INTERVALS BY FAULTS STRIKING N65W, DIPPING 60N. ANOTHER VEIN, 6 IN. THICK; IN PLACES, VEIN CONSISTS OF AN INCH OF GOUGE, THEN QUARTZ WIDENS TO 14 IN. AND BECOMES BANDED, WITH BANDS 1/4 IN. THICK, SEPARATED BY DARK LINES, EACH OF WHICH POSSIBLY REPRESENTS RE-OPENING OF FISSURE. THIS VEIN HAS GRANODIORITE HANGING WALL, WHICH BECOMES A DIKE 100 FT. THICK NEAR SURFACE. MOST OF VEIN IS 6-18 IN. THICK WITH CRUSHED QUARTZ HEAVILY STAINED WITH FE AND MN OXIDES. QUARTZ IS MILKY WITH A FEW SMALL OPEN VUGS AND MAY CONTAIN FRAGMENTS OF COUNTRY ROCK. SULFIDES ARE GENERALLY NOT PLENTIFUL
