  • DEPOSIT HAS UNUSUAL AND INTERESTING RELATIONS OF SILICA AND SEVERAL SULFATE MINERALS. WASTE MATERIAL HAS WIDE RANGE OF COLORS. AUTHOR INFERRED THAT SILICA AND SULPHATE MINERALS WERE FIRST DEPOSITED IN INTIMATE MIXTURE AND LATER SEGREGATED AS COARSELY CRYSTALLINE GRAINS AND CRYSTALS.
