  • ON E SIDE OF CANYON: 100 FT INCLINE DIPPING 25 WITH A NARROW IRREGULAR DRIFT RUNNING E FOR >100 FT. ON WEST SIDE OF CANYON HEAD WERE SOME ABANDONED TUNNELS. DAVIS INCLINE, JUKES INCLINE, GOLD VEIN INCLINE, CLARA NO.1 AND CLARA NO.2 TUNNEL

  • PRODUCED A LITTLE ORE IN 1913. ORE WAS HAND-SORTED ON THE DUMP AND SACKED FOR SHIPMENT.

Deposit SMALL IRREGULAR REPLACEMENT BODIES ALONG A STEEP NW-TRENDING FAULT AND ALONG BEDDING PLANES NEAR THE FAULT. ORE BODIES ARE OF REDDISH-BROWN IRON OXIDE WITH A LOT OF WHITE ARGENTIFEROUS LEAD CARBONATE.
