  • DEPOSIT IS A FEW FEET TO 100 FEET WIDE, FEW INCHES TO 30 FEET THICK, AND EXTENDS HALF A MILE OR MORE ALONG THE CANYON FLOOR. GARNETIFEROUS LAYERS 1/4 INCH TO SEVERAL FEET THICK CONTAIN UP TO 20% GARNET IN CRYSTALS. AVERAGE GARNET CONTENT IS LESS THAN 10%.
