Deposit METALS ARE FOUND IN A THIN LAYER OF FINE HEAVY SAND COMPOSED CHIEFLY OF PINK GARNET AND BLACK GRAINS OF ILMENITE AND MAGNETITE. AT THIS SITE THE WAVE TERRACE IS CUT INTO A LAYER OF TOUGH CLAY BELONGING TO THE DRIFT.
