A PLANT ESTABLISHED IN 1920 FAILED TO RECOVER GOLD AND PLATINUM IN PAYING QUANTITIES AND IT WAS SHUT DOWN AFTER TWO DAYS OPERATION AND WAS DISMANTLED. IN 1924, LLOYD ASHLEY OF ALAMEDA WORKED DEPOSIT ON A SMALL SCALE AND A SMALL PRODUCTION OF PLATINUM WAS REPORTED.
