| Relative position | MacKevett and Holloway (1977, locality 7) locate this placer prospect upstream about three and a half miles from the confluence of the Kahiltna and Yentna Rivers. The prospect area cover an approximate three mile stretch along the Kahlitna River centered at about the middle of the boundary between Sections 23 and 26, T. 22 N., R. 8 W. (U.S. Bureau of Mines , 1973, locality 71). This is a continuation of the placers along the same river described in ARDF TY028 and ARDF TY027. |
