  • shaft sunk through the GRAYSON FORMATION into the DEVILS RIVER LIMESTONE
  • 400 ft drift follows a fault zone along which there has been some movement and alteration of the limestone close to the undulating base of the grayson. The zone contains some iron oxide and calcite, but the only cinnabar reported to have been found was at the bottom of the shaft.
