| Deposit | DISCOVERED ABOUT 1931, FIRST DEVELOPED IN 1932, PRODUCTION YEARS-1943-1944, 1955-59. 2-PIPE RETORT WAS OPERATED IN 1943. ROCKS IN MINE AREA INCLUDE A FLAT-DIPPING LIMESTONE BED OVERLAIN BY CONGLOMERATIC DOLOMITE. THE MAIN WORKINGS CONSIST OF A LONG ADIT AND CROSSCUT EXPLORATION OF THE DOLOMITE CONGLOMERATE CLOSE TO THE CONTACT WITH THE OVERLYING SHALE THAT "COPPED" THE OLE AT THE JUNIPER MINE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT |
