General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit THE DEPOSIT OCCURS IN A SMALL STRUCTURAL SWALE. HYDROCARBONS OCCUR IN THE UPPER PORTION OF THE TIMPOWEAP MEMBER OF THE MOENKOPI FORMATION, BEING LOCALIZED BY THE HIGHLY POROUS CALCARENITE AT THIS STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION. MUCH OF THE HYDROCARBON SHOW CONSISTS OF LIVE OIL. OIL BLEEDS OUT OF VUGS AND STAINS THE SURFACE OF THE ROCK.
