Deposit TACTITE BODY; SMALL ORE BODIES CONTAINING A FEW TENS TO A FEW HUNDRED OF TONS OF ORE ARE FOUND. MINE ON THE NORTH EDGE OF THE ST. ANTHONY STOCK, AND SEDIMENTARY BEDDING STRIKES ABOUT N40W, DIPS 30 N AWAY FROM- THE STOCK CONTACT. WALLROCK IS MAINLY HORNFELS, THIN, (1IN TO- 6 IN) LENSES OF WEAKLY SILICATED LIMESTONE IN HORNFELS SECTIO-N. THE UPPER (SOUTHERN) WORKINGS MAY BE IN PENDANTS OF SEDIMEN-TS WITHIN THE GRANODIORITE. THE SEDIMENTS SEEM TO FOLD AROUND -THE NE END OF THE GRANODIORITE MASS. SAMPLE 2653 CONSISTS OF W-EAK GARNET SKARN WITH VISIBLE SCHEELITE.
Deposit WORKED DURING 1952-56. THE PRODUCTION FIGURES INCLUDES THE SHEBA-ELENOR-TROJAN GROUP, BLUE WOLF MINE, AND TUNGSTEN BELL MINE (LOCATIONS UNKNOWN). THE COON CAN MINE IS LOCATED ALONG THE EAST EDGE OF THE ST. ANTHONY GRANODIORITE STOCK.
