Deposit RICHEST ORE FOUND AT OR NEAR THE SURFACE; VALUES DECREASED RAPIDLY WITH DEPTH AS ORE PASSED INTO LEAN PRIMARY SULFIDE ORES. ORE IN FLAT VEIN IN LIMESTONE. IT AVERAGES ABOUT 20 INCHES IN WIDTH. WORKINGS EXPLORE CONTACT BETWEEN KOIPATO RHYOLITE AND PRIDA THIN-BEDDED CARBONACEOUS LIMESTONE. QUARTZ VEINS OCCU-R ALONG BEDDING PLANES OF THE LIMESTONE. VEINS ARE NARROW (1-3-0 CM) AND CONTAIN PYRITE, SPHALERITE, JAMESONITE AND TETRAHEDR-ITE IN PRIMARY ORE. APPARENTLY, ORE MINED IN EARLY DAYS WAS SU-PERGENE-ENRICHED AND CONTAINED ABUNDANT ACANTHITE AS SOOTY COA-TINGS.
