Mica Primary

Comments on the commodity information

  • SOME OF THE ORE, ESPECIALLY NEAR THE HANGING WALL, IS BANDED WITH 0.125-0.25 INCH BANDS OF SLIGHTLY DIFFERING GRAY- COLORS. THIS BANDING IS ALSO GENERALLY CONFORMABLE. MASSIVE M-ATERIAL IS MORE COMMON AND WIDESPREAD; THIS IS LIGHT GRAY TO L-IGHT OLIVE GRAY, VERY FINE-GRAINED AND LOCALLY IRON-STAINED. T-HE PINITE CONSISTS OF ABUNDANT SERICITE, LESSER AND VARIABLE A-MOUNTS OF PYROPHYLLITE AND SOME QUARTZ.

Materials information

Materials Type of material
Limonite Gangue
Pyrite Gangue
Quartz Gangue
Pyrophyllite Unknown

Alteration

  • (Local) Country Rock Is Commonly Altered With Development Of Sericite, Kaolinite, Calcite, And In Places Is Silicified.
