| Deposit | MINE IS DEVELOPED BY A 19-FT. SHAFT WITH A SHORT CROSSCUT AND STOPE ALONG THE VEIN, A 35 FT. ADIT ALONG THE VEIN JUST WEST OF SHAFT. CERVANTITE MINE AND THE ANTIMONY STAR MINE BOTH LIE ALONG THE SAME MINERALIZED STRUCTURE THE OPENINGS ARE IN SANDSTONE OVERLAIN BY QUARTZITE AND UNDERLAIN BY SHALE INTENSE FRACTURING AND FAULTING HAVE TAKEN PLACE BOTH ALONG THE SANDSTONE-QUARTZITE CONTACT AND IN THE SANDSTONE OBLIQUE TO THE CONTACT. THE ANTIMONY MINERALIZATION WAS CONTROLLED BY THE FRACTURES THAT PROVIDED SPACE FOR STIBNITE DEPOSITION. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT |
