Deposit A 15-FT WIDE VEIN CONTAINS A 10-FT WIDTH OF MAGNETITE ORE; IT WAS MINED OVER A LENGTH OF 500 FT. TWO PARALLEL ZONES OF MAGNETITE MINERALIZATION WITH ABOUT 15% IRON GRADE OCCURS SOUTH OF THE VEIN.
Deposit DISCOVERED IN 1952 BY MAGNETIC ANOMALY BY CHARLES DODGSON. PURCHASED BY MINERALS MATERIALS CO. IN 1953 AND EXPLORED BY TRENCHING AND 19 WAGON DRILL HOLES TO DEPTHS OF 70 FEET. A VEIN 15 FEET WIDE, CONTAINING A 10-FOOT WIDTH OF MAGNETITE ORE WAS MINED OVER A LENGTH OF 500 FEET.
