Deposit 0.3 M WIDE QUARTZ VEIN PARALLEL TO BEDDING IN PHYLLITE AND HORNFELS WHICH STRIKES N70E, DIP 30NW (FROM CONTACT OF HORNFELS AND GRANITE). GRANITE IS CUT BY APLITE AND DIABASE DIKES. VEIN REPORTEDLY CONTAINS SPHALERITE, ALTHOUGH NONE WAS SEEN IN THE SAMPLE COLLECTED. ACCORDING TO STEVE LUDDINGTON OF USGS, THE VEIN CONTAINS SPARSE YELLOW SCHEELITE.
