Deposit ATLAS VEIN STRIKES N 75-90 E AND DIPS 70-80 S AND OCCUPIES AN INTENSELY FRACTURED ALTERED ZONE NEAR THE TOP OF THE BATHOLITH, A LAYERED-VEIN AND CONTAINS MUCH ALTERED WALLROCK. IN SEVERAL PLACES THE HANGING WALL CONTAINS THIN VEINLETS THAT STRIKE N 65 E AND INTERSECT THE MORE E STRIKING ATLAS VEIN. THE STEAMBOAT VEIN IS ONLY KNOWN ON THE 300FT LEVEL, IT STRIKES N 80 E AND DIPS 75-85 S, W IT WIDENS TO 4 FT. THREE BROKEN, ALTERED, AND MINERALIZED ZONES ARE EXPOSED IN THE CROSSCUT BETWEEN THE ATLAS AND STEAMBOAT VEINS.
Deposit IF MINERALIZED ZONE PERSIST ALONG STRIKE, THE N ONE WOULD INTERSECT THE STEAMBOAT VEIN ABOUT 100 FT E OF THE CROSSCUT, AND THE S ONE WOULD INTERSECT THE ATLAS VEIN ABOUT 140 FT W OF THE CROSSCUT. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
