  • PRINCIPAL WORKING WAS AN OPEN CUT 125 FT. LONG BY 20 FT. DEEP, IN WHICH A 55 FT SHAFT WAS SUNK AT THE LOWER END. FROM THE SHAFT, A DRIFT HAD BEEN DRIVEN 40 FT IN ORE, ALONG STRIKE BACK UNDER THE CUT. OTHER WORKINGS INCLUDED PITS LESS THAN 10 FT. DEEP.
